Learning to Live with Dogs

There's 2 types of dog owners - those whose dog is part of the family and those whose dog is their life! Adventures, holidays & days out are all planned around the dog and no doubt the dog is a regular at agility classes, Hoopers, scentwork or flyball etc.

It will be no surprise that I am in the second camp - Mash and I are constantly learning from each other, experiencing new ways to amuse ourselves and planning our next adventures! I am a dog behaviour hobbyist and love to share tips and info that we discover on our journey through life together.

Hence The Dog Blog - a place of reference for recommendations, ideas, information, training, and much much more! We have plans for Walks & Talks with dog professionals, DIY enrichment activities, spotlights of specific breeds to name but a few and hope you're follow our journey and make the most of the time you have together this your dog.

In the competitive world of online dog businesses, making your bark louder than the rest can feel like a daunting task. But fear not, pawsome entrepreneurs! Revamping your branding for social media can be the gateway to igniting engagement and attracting your ideal clientele. Let's delve into some actionable tips to make your online presence fetch the attention it deserves: 1. Know Your Target Audience: Before unleashing your brand into the digital wilderness, take a step back and sniff out your core values. What makes your dog business unique? Are you the playful pup of the party, the reliable pack leader, or the compassionate haven offering safe spaces? Understanding your essence lays the foundation for building a consistent and captivating brand story. 2. Find Your Visual Voice: Let's face it, images are the currency of online attention. But to truly stand out, your visuals need to go beyond just showing happy pups from Stock Libraries. Inject your brand personality into every frame. Think vibrant colours for the playful pup, sleek minimalism for the pack leader, or heartwarming close-ups for the compassionate haven. Your photos should tell a story, evoke emotions, and leave viewers yearning for more. If you need some help defining the essence or personality of your business you can take our fun FREE QUIZ
