Our workshops provide a comprehensive breakdown of manual mode, offering practical sessions to build confidence. You'll navigate settings with ease, mastering the art of manual mode photography.
You will receive personal guidance in small, intimate sessions tailored to your skill level. We demystify camera settings, empowering you to make informed decisions and capture stunning moments consistently.
Experience hands-on learning in a supportive environment. Our workshops offer a balance of theory and practical sessions, allowing you to ask questions and receive immediate feedback, making the learning process more effective and enjoyable.
Learn the secrets of manual mode and discover how to adjust settings like a pro. Say goodbye to blurry photos and hello to crisp, perfectly exposed shots.

Our workshops are designed for personalised learning. Whether you're a beginner or looking to refine your skills, our intimate sessions ensure you get the attention you deserve.
We believe in learning by doing. Our workshops seamlessly blend theory with practical sessions, allowing you to apply your knowledge in real-time.
Discover your unique style and unleash your creativity. From composition techniques to understanding light, we'll guide you in capturing images that tell your story
We run through an uncomplicated explanation of how your camera settings work, composition rules, exposure and focus
We'll head out on location to practise exposures, focus and composition
Review the images you've taken in the back of your camera over a cup of tea and solve any problems you've encountered
Head to a new location for more practise and add in the use of neutral density filters if required
Download your images onto laptop to review and edit one of your images
Head to a new location for sunset and practise with filters, slow shutter speeds and creative techniques
We're all about learning rather than having the latest, greatest kit but you will need a few essentials to make the most of your time with us
To make the most of your workshop you'll need a DSLR or Bridge camera with the option to use MANUAL MODE. Please also bring your camera's manual if you have it!
We'll be heading off the beaten path to get to some of the locations so good shoes and weather relevant clothes / coats are essential
If you have your own set of ND Filters please bring them along, you may also want to bring a flask to fill with something hot if the weather is on the chilly side
Popping your camera on a tripod, even in great lighting conditions helps you create and frame your scene and put thought into the image you're looking to create. We wont be able to shoot at sunset without one
Writing down a few notes whilst we cover the theory is an excellent way to help you remember everything we learn
