Our commitment to Helping the Planet
There is nothing we love more than exploring new walks, finding new adventures outdoors & enjoying the natural world around us. As an independent business I have the freedom to support causes that I am passionate about & can make a positive impact, albeit it a tiny one, to help the future of our amazing planet by slowing down climate change.

Offsetting our Carbon Footprint
The Business...
- 100% of the business' energy comes from renewable resources
- In 2019 I converted my garage into a studio and added a (soft!) wood cabin in my garden to cut down travel. The car is only used when going to a location shoot and where possible we're shooting more sessions in the local area within walking distance
- All packaging from suppliers is either recycled or re-used where possible
- Use of LED bulbs where possible and ensuring lights are switched off after use. Electrical equipment - Switched off at source rather than on standby, use of rechargeable batteries in all required equipment
- Only printing essential communication
- Monthly offsetting both personal and the business’ carbon footprint via Ecologi.com

Offsetting on your behalf
- Having made some calculations, the average carbon footprint of my customers using my services results in 2.83 tonnes of CO2e in total, so I commit to offset 3 tonnes of CO2e per year
- For every collection you purchase I will plant 25 trees & for every eco collection that is purchased I will plant 100 trees PLUS another 200 trees will be planted per year in addition because we like planting trees!
Reduce, Recycle, Reuse
- All packaging from suppliers is either recycled or re-used where possible, cardboard boxes that can’t be recycled are shredded to produce packing materials for when products are shipped
- Stop giving individual plastic bottles of water to customers and change to compostable bags for any customer orders that currently include plastic bags
- Reduce the amount of printed marketing info & offer online alternatives. Ensure all print marketing is on FSC certified card and is recyclable
Our Aims for 2021
- Reducing carbon footprint further through insulating the studio & viewing room more
- Reducing business travel by 1 journey by using online meetings where possible, by combining trips & utilising the local environment for location sessions
- Committing to increasing my sustainable product range
- Reducing single use plastics
- Using carbon positive shipping companies & combine deliveries to customers for their orders rather than asking you to collect
- Only using FSC certified card
- Spread the word by creating incentives and a brand new Signature Eco collection of super sustainable products with a premium carbon offset value contributed
