Of course I’m going to have a soft spot for Sid the Wire Haired Dachshund, after all he must be a distant cousin to Mash and anyone who’s a friend of Mash’s.
Angela was given a gift of a Dachshund Dog Photography Shoot Voucher from her children as they knew how special Sid is to her and chatting to Angela before the shoot I found out quite how similar dachshunds seem to be with their rather weird tendency to talk (a lot!), eat their blankets (a lot!) and what mummy’s boys they are so I couldn’t wait to meet this wiry little fella who like Mash does what he wants, when he wants, a challenge when trying to photograph them for sure!
But as the day dawned I was pleasantly surprised, Sid would do ANYTHING for a teeny piece of cheese, even ignoring the pouring down rain! He had a fabulous time running through the stubble and the hay store, around and around the tree and generally anywhere we wanted to be! The only thing Sid wouldn’t so was sit but when you have such little legs it’s easy enough to get some static shots of them too!
Sid’s Dachshund Dog Photography Shoot was a triumph and I couldn’t wait to show Angela Sid’s photos, she loved them all and we had a really hard time picking out the 7 favourite shots for Angela’s stunning fine art frame that will take pride of place in her house!
Here are a few of my favourite shots from Sid’s Dachshund Dog Photography Shoot…
